How come it only takes a few seconds to take a snapshot of everything on your PC but cloning everything on your PC takes much longer?

When you "clone" your PC, all the DATA in the cloning operation has to be moved (copied) to the clone.

When RBrx takes a snapshot, all the DATA that it is referencing stay right on the disk where it currently lives, and only a pointer to that DATA is created and remembered. That's why when your disk goes bad with RBrx running on it... you lose all your original DATA incl. any snapshots taken since installation (because it never gets copied).
