  • Windows 10 Cumulative Security Updates cause problems

Sorry for this thread. The problem wasn't with Rollback Rx.

I'm using a Dell 3650 i3 Inspiron that I bought a little over a month ago, and though I was able to install the Windows 10 anniversary update, the last two cumulative updates (KB3206632 and KB3213986) have caused problems with important Windows functions, including the start screen, Cortina, and the notifications area. I have been able to use RollbackRx to restore my system and I then used Wushowhide to hide the offending updates. But this is clearly not a good solution. Is RollbackRx 10.5 responsible for these malfunctions? I don't want to uninstall RollbackRx merely as an experiment, since then I wouldn't be able to restore the system in case the updates still caused the same problems. (I'd have to use Drive Cloner and an external backup drive, I suppose.) Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks. I miss Windows 7.
