  • Introducing RollBack Rx Home Edition

Alright folks, the time has come to announce what the team here at Horizon DataSys has been working so hard on these past months! Without further ado we are very proud to introduce to you all RollBack Rx Home Edition, a freeware version of our most popular instant recovery software RollBack Rx Professional Edition!

RollBack Rx Home Edition will work on all Windows OS from 2000 to 8.1, can take up to 7 snapshots, and is available at no cost to you. For a full list of feature comparisons visit this page here:

In short we don't want people to leave their computers open and vulnerable just because they aren't able to afford it. With RollBack Rx Home Edition, the end user can get that full PC protection and comfort knowing they can always roll back to a time when there was no problem.

Please download the program and give it a go using this direct download link: (Note: For users downloading the software with Internet Explorer, right-click the file and select "Rename" and then add on ".exe" to the end, as that browser will automatically remove that extension type).

    Read the full release here:

    Check out our video here:

Feel free to post in this thread your experience with the software, and help spread the word about RollBack Rx Home Edition!

Sam, would you please describe the extent of HDS support that's made available to Rollback Rx Home users?

      Good morning! And of course.

RollBack Rx Home Edition will be supported in the same manner that our other freeware, Reboot Restore Rx, is. That is, the main support/FAQ's for this software will be helmed directly on this forum. Should you have a question about RollBack Rx Home Edition, encounter a bug, etc., then reporting it on the forum is the best option to get the situation addressed first.

Now, that's not to say you can't go to and enter into a Live Chat with one of our representatives there! But the best way will be through this forum.

Hi, I've been using the home edition for several months and have need to use the rollback feature several times, and it's worked perfectly every time. Love it! Much better than Windows system restore. I only wish I could save it to my secondary hard drive.
